Since 1932, OSCO, then known as Oil Storage Company of Chicago, hence OSCO, has been dedicated to fulfilling the needs of industrial and commercial Chicago. Initially, through the storage and delivery of petroleum products until 1955. Beginning in 1955, we became known for the sale and distribution of petroleum products.

During the second World War, Oil Storage Co. stored and delivered over 80% of the aviation gasoline consumed at Midway Airport. The volume of gasoline consumed from the beginning of the war until the end increased about ten-fold. Oil Storage fulfilled these needs even at a time of rationing and a draft, which made obtaining men and materials to get the work accomplished almost impossible.

This same attitude of getting the work accomplished carried over to the 1960's when a huge increase in construction activity strained the ability to get fuel to the machines. Oil Storage Co.'s trucks went where ever the fuel needed; 100 feet down in an excavation for a new sky scraper, 150 feet down in an excavation for a reservoir, a mile out in a field for a new housing development, twenty gallons to a small machine working on a hospital addition, 10 miles up and down new road construction, the middle of O'Hare Field during the big snow of 1967. ANY AMOUNT OF FUEL, ANY PLACE, AND ANY TIME! Our motto then, our motto now: if you need it, we'll do it .

Throughout the 1970's, with our new name of OSCO, we continued to work with the same job attitude. The 1970's were marked by an incredible situation; a shortage of oil and gas.This was at a time of growing demand for fuel, and shortage and allocations of fuel made for a very difficult time. While all major oil companies were allocating fuel and denying fuel to their customers. OSCO was fulfilling every request for fuel to our customers. This was no small accomplishment . Also, it was a time of price gouging by oil companies. The Federal Government fixed prices and their audits forced many oil companies to refund money to their customers. The audit of OSCO found us to be in perfect compliance with the rules. We are still very proud of that.

The 1980's and 1990's have been marked substantially by the EPA and its concerns about the environment. Once again, OSCO is in the forefront. Different types of gasoline, different types of tanks and dispensing facilities. Only OSCO has the trucks to deliver all the types of fuel you need where you need it, and the organization to deliver when you want it. If you have a piece of equipment or a spread of equipment; we'll fuel it or them.
